I really really want to go back and see Viv as i miss her so much but really dont think I could cope with it. Just wouldnt be right without Brian and Shaun.
I wanna go back and be supportive for Viv, Trev, david, Andrew, james, and Mr Melvin but it just wouldnt be right! Our joseph family have left! Couldnt go back on my own, need someones hand to hold.

Shirl, I intend to go at least a couple of times before Trev, Viv & James leave but, like you, am wary about seeing the show without the majority of 'our' cast. I'm all for a bit of hand-holding myself.
Did think about going today but bottled out.

Ok clever clogs you where right Im just really glad as couldnt cope with losing my babyboy and my babygirl within weeks of each other! Now all I need to do is get the confidence back to go and see her. Just finding it very hard to return to the show when I know there will be other ppl in Lee, Shaun, Brian and everyones place. I had the chance to go today but bottled out...just harded than I expected. Nothing pretty to look at on that stage anymore!

'Tis true. I spoke to Viv today and she is staying for another three months but dropping a Saturday show each week at the discretion of BKL.
She's still getting over her stomach bug and said she was really poorly. Looked a bit pale I thought. But sounded good as always!

Awwww bless her. I really do need to go and see her and give her a hug. Its just the thought of other brothers that puts me off and scares me a little.

Awwww bless her. I really do need to go and see her and give her a hug. Its just the thought of other brothers that puts me off and scares me a little. As you know, I was really wary of going without everyone there but I wanted to see Trev, Viv, Andrew, James (although he wasn't there yesterday), John and David, while I could. Worst bit was waiting outside and not seeing all the usual people walking towards me, just felt really lonely and a bit alien. Nearly walked away at one point. But then seeing the faces I did know helped. Viv was lovely and stopped to talk for a few minutes - hadn't seen her for what seemed like ages. And the Trev/Andrew hugs were therapeutic too! The other scary bit was the curtain going up. Viv comes on as always and lulls you into a false sense of security that nothing's changed - then that curtain rises and instead of people we know and love, all those strangers in their places and most of the two-way recognition has gone - that's what hurts most I think. I guess going back is a bit like when you fall off your bike. You either decide never to risk it again and miss out on the fun you have riding it or you get right back on, keep pedalling and see where it takes you! Hope to see you sometime next week at least Shirl. I'm sure Viv will love to see you again.
