Discovered that Annie is set to tour again later this year - Southend is already booked according to the Cliffs Pavilion website, for 29th Aug - 3rd Sept. I was looking for something else and spotted it.
So *if* Phil should end up joining it again - no guarantees obviously - and you fancy a return trip to me, you'd be very welcome Hels!

An update on Annie. Sounds like they're casting for the next tour already, as apparently Chris Palmer, who's currently playing Gad in Joseph at the NLT, will be understudying Rooster Hannigan. Maybe they're having a few changes, or even a major recast, this time around.
As far as I know, Phil won't be joining the cast again - at least no-one's mentioned it so far. But I'll probably still go and see it when it's here.
And. now I think about it, Hels, they did have balloons when I saw it here in 2003, so you could have had a lucky escape!
