International Ronan Keating Day 2004
As you may know, ‘International Ronan Keating Day’ is on the 26th July each year. This date is the anniversary of the UK release of Ronan’s first solo single, ‘When You Say Nothing At All’.
‘International Ronan Keating Day’ was established in 2002 by ‘Just Ronan Fans United’ and ‘Ronan All The Way’. So this is the third year that the day will be celebrated.
We have had great success for the past two years – By informing radio stations, newspapers and other media sources about the special day, many of them have promoted it. Some fans were interviewed live on the radio, many radio stations played more of Ronan’s songs on the day for us, and the Daily Mirror newspaper (UK) and Sky Radio (Holland) even ran special features about Ronan Keating Day. All around the world, all fans can make a special effort to request Ronan’s songs, so everyone can help.
This year, we want to try and involve as many Ronan websites as possible. We want to make it a worldwide celebration of Ronan’s music, and not just something done by one site. It is a unique occasion when all sites can unite with one goal – to celebrate Ronan’s work, and to promote and support him together.
We are hoping that as many sites and lists as possible will display an ‘International Ronan Keating Day’ banner or graphic, in the weeks running up to the day, to promote the event.
All sites that get involved, will have their website addresses named on the ‘flyer’ that we will be making to promote the event. This flyer can
be sent out to radio stations, newspaper and magazine websites, and other media and music sites. So it is good promotion for all the Ronan websites that participate, as well as for Ronan!
If you would like to help, send and email to kraak.rypkema@planet.nl. We will send you a graphic to display on your site - but you could make your own graphic for it if you prefer.
Please help us to promote ‘International Ronan Keating Day’, and help all Ronan fans to come together to support Ronan and make this
event an even bigger success than ever this year!
