Meet Ronan Keating This Weekend In Golden Discs Liffey Valley!
This weekend Ronan Keating will be appearing in Golden Discs store, Liffey Valley shopping centre at 4.30pm to sign copies of his new single, ’I Hope You Dance’
Ronan Keating's new single is expected to raise more than just the hopes of another No. 1 hit for the talented Dubliner. "I Hope You Dance" is also expected to raise wads of dosh for Breast cancer Awareness.
Recorded as part of a major UK Breast Cancer Care programme known as Tickled Pink Campaign, the single prompted Golden Discs to donate all profits to The Marie Keating Foundation. Ronan was over the moon tohear that the nation's only independent retail chain has gone the distance on this, providing much needed funds for the Irish organisation which provides free information and awareness on the subject.
On Thursday morning 23rd, Ronan and his wife Yvonne will join a numberof stars including Kerry McFadden to launch Marie Keating Foundations’Pink Ribbon Campaign.Released September 24th, "I Hope You Dance" is a positive song.
Country pop at its very best, the song was originally a major hit for Lee Ann Womack in 2000. Ronan jumped at the opportunity to record thesong for Tickled Pink and last night performed the single in theAlbert Hall along with a host of other stars including Geri Halliwell,Natasha Bedingfield, Tom Jones, Jules Holland, Beverly Night and Lisa Standsfield. At 27 Ronan has enjoyed worldwide chart success for adecade. He has sold in excess of 17 million albums. He has duettedwith everyone from Elton John to Pavarotti. But nothing gives himgreater personal satisfaction than to put his talents to a worthycause.
