Was very brave girl and went to see a show today, with all those strange faces on stage. Have to say that although of course I missed our boys and girls (some boys in particular ), I did enjoy it and the new cast seem to be settling in well. All a bit confusing as the brothers do different bits than we're used to and swap around a lot more. Some choreography has changed. Slightly different costumes e.g. American footballers have red shiny trousery things now and Ben Calypso boleros have sparkly bits on. Worst bit was curtain going up. Wanted it to be our cast but it wasn't. Got used to it though. Will try to remember who does what if anyone's interested! No new programme yet. They've reduced the brochure to £4 and put in a new sheet with cast list/photos. I begged one of the sheets!

TELL US ALL! well done u your so brave! *is very proud!* go go go U! I know, I surprised myself. It helped that Allie was there to help me cope - and we weren't in front row, were in centre D. Will try to answer some of those questions, with the help of the new cast list! Not sure this is how it is all shows, they may be experimenting a bit. The purple/silver dresses are the same, no changes there. Levi (Michael Martin) and Gad (Chris Palmer) are head guards. Michael is rather chunkier than Shaun! Chris looked okay though - he takes Phil's place and plays it like Phil did but they swap sides when they do the putting Joseph in chains bit. Not as scary as Shaun and Phil were I have to say - far too gentle! Didn't notice any short skirts a la Skid or Lee and several pairs of socks needed sorting! John Melvin is doing 'come and lie with me love' at the moment. Didn't notice anyone shouting 'we need cash'. Not even sure who did that bit with Benjamin actually... Not as funny as Shaun though whoever it was. No-one has the power of the Dalton, Hels. Strongest voice (i.e. biggest mouth! ) I noticed yesterday belonged to Stephen McCarthy as Dan/Butler. Mrs P was fine - she's very slim, smaller than Kay, the costume wasn't so tight on her, and she managed the leg-up. Trying to think who did the OMAIH lead - think it was Reuben (Carl G Hughes) actually. Gad (Chris Palmer) did the guitar. Spike Grimsey as Zebulun did Brian's bits. The hoe-down choreography has changed a bit I think but can't describe how exactly! Canaan Days....lead is Zebulun (Spike). Sorry, I know I'm bound to be biased on this one, but not a patch on Phil! He doesn't 'do' French at all, doesn't have the facial expressions or flourishes when with the bike, doesn't turn to the others when he does the 'perhaps we all' bit and just doesn't have Phil's voice. I liked Spike generally, he's got a comical personality I think, but don't think he's the best choice for Canaan Days. Phil's a tough act to follow really so doubt I'd be impressed with anyone else to be honest! Judah gets thrown down by Joseph in Grovel Grovel, although it's still Reuben who puts out this hand to Benjamin, so that was weird. Will try to think of other bits and pieces but seeing it again will help put it all into place. As I said before, it's still very early days for this cast with more changes to come, so will take time for them to 'gel' and not have to think so much about what they're doing, so they can inject their own touches. It's all just a bit...bland...being played straight at the moment. Andrew is doing his best to liven it up where he can. Oh, he had to take his own loin cloth off yesterday! They need to sort out the cast board in the foyer. They have Pharaoh ('Pharoah'), Reuben ('Ruben') and Issachar ('Issacher') all wrong. Had already altered Chis to Chris during yesterday afternoon but obviously hadn't noticed the other mistakes.

Oh gawd the post has set me off all emotional again.... Have one question....who does lee's dance in Cannan Days? I may have to look away for that bit, was bad enough on 14th when Ben did it (no offence to Ben, hes great but isnt Lee!) Oh and as for taking Andrews loin cloth off I could have helped him out with that bit

What are you two like? Different voices have different qualities for different people. Never got the chance to see Shaun in a loin cloth, for which I expect he's eternally grateful! The dress was bad enough I'm sure! The Canaan Days dance....was Judah I believe. And yesterday was with Emma-Gina King but I think usually it's Chantelle, who wasn't on stage for some reason, although she was around. Is exactly the same dance with the lift at the end. It's also usually Chantelle who takes off the loincloth but as she wasn't there, Andrew did it himself! Maybe he didn't trust anyone else! I'm afraid the American footballers don't have the same effect as they used to, now certain people aren't there anymore. Was impressed with some of the silly runs I saw yesterday - not to the standard of Lee and Phil on a good day though. And no sneaky silliness going on in the huddle around Pharaoh, making people (including us) giggle

The American footballers bit always used to make me giggle, what with Lee standing there wiggling his foot when he should have been stood still. And the way they'd all run on and be full of silliness. Its little things like that, that you dont realise how much you miss until its gone I guess. Hope the new cast add a bi of silliness when they get settled in otherwise its gonna be boring! Oh and hels theres no way Mr Dalton would look as good as lee in a loin cloth....now Im sure he'd look ok but never as good as Lee thats not possible. hehehehe

The American footballers bit always used to make me giggle, what with Lee standing there wiggling his foot when he should have been stood still. Or be tickling people from behind when they were trying to stand still. He was always tickling people. I'm afraid I stopped watching Joseph trying to work out the dream and concentrated on what was going on in the huddle instead! ;D
