After working together in a studio, they decided to test out a new track on the crowd in the Jolly Maltster in West London. A source told the Daily Star: “Ronan and Jamie are very similar, they both like to work hard and play hard. “They were so thrilled at the end result of the song that they dived into the black stuff. After a few pints they thought they’d get some opinions and did a rendition of the track for the bar staff. “They got the thumbs-up from the locals, so it sealed the songs position on the album.” Jamie plays the piano on several tracks on Ronan’s new album and the Irishman has admitted being indebted to his friend. He said: “I was amazed when Jamie said he would play piano for me. He’s a brilliant musician and a good friend. I am indebted to him for doing such an amazing job.” Could this be the beginning of a beautiful relationship?
