uk.news.yahoo.com/16052006/364/keating-inspired-reunion.htmlTuesday May 16 Irish pop star Ronan Keating has been inspired to reunite his former group Boyzone after watching Take That's successful comeback. The Back For Good foursome recently returned to the stage after a 10-year hiatus with a series of sold-out gigs, which has left Keating wondering if he should reunite with his old bandmates. Boyzone - comprising Keating, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham, Stephen Gately and Keith Duffy - split in 1999 after five years together. Despite the initial success of his solo career, Keating's chart success hasbeen on the wane in recent years. He says, "I saw Take That last Friday. They were completely brilliant. Whenthe lads appeared I hadn't heard a noise like it since Boyzone's last concert. "I was feeling, 'This would definitely be nice again.' "I'm seeing the guys, we're probably going out for dinner on Thursday. We'rehanging out and chatting and that's all totally cool. So never say never -but there's nothing planned."

www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,4-2006220362,,00.html Boyz zone in on reunion IT’S shaping up to be the year of the reunions — with BOYZONE looking to be the next to cash in. RONAN KEATING says he’s tempted to get back together with his old band following TAKE THAT’s storming return to the stage. He said: “I saw Take That last Friday. They were completely brilliant. When the lads appeared I hadn’t heard a noise like it since Boyzone’s last concert. “I was feeling ‘This would definitely be nice again.’ ” The lads, STEPHEN GATELY, KEITH DUFFY, SHANE LYNCH and MIKEY GRAHAM split six years ago after frontman Ronan left to go solo. Ronan has since ruled out a reunion after falling out with ex-manager LOUIS WALSH. But now he admits he’s having second thoughts. He said: “I’m seeing the guys, we’re probably going out for dinner on Thursday. “We’re hanging out and chatting and that’s all totally cool. So never say never — but there’s nothing planned.” Didn’t GARY BARLOW and EAST 17 star TONY MORTIMER say something similar . . ?

www.inthenews.co.uk/news/news-channels/entertainment-channel/return-boyzone-rumoured-again-$439005.htmTuesday, 16 May 2006 15:09 Less than two months since he dismissed the last comeback rumours, Ronan Keating is again reported as suggesting 90s pop group Boyzone could be about to make a return. Now a successful solo artist, Keating has been allegedly inspired by the hugely successful Take That reformation. And with the pound signs flashing like a Christmas tree, he has refused to rule out brining the old gang back together. "I saw Take That last Friday. They were completely brilliant. When the lads appeared I hadn't heard a noise like it since Boyzone's last concert," he said. "I was feeling, 'This would definitely be nice again.' "I'm seeing the guys, we're probably going out for dinner on Thursday. We're hanging out and chatting and that's all totally cool. So never say never - but there's nothing planned." This news will no doubt be warmly welcomed by old group-mates Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham, Stephen Gately and Keith Duffy, none of whom have gone on to achieve anything of note since Boyzone split in 1999. But why exactly Keating would want to reform the band is uncertain…what's that? £1million each for a makeshift tour? That'd just about do it. But still, expect the customary 'Keating denies Boyzone reforming' headlines tomorrow
